Southeast Dallas is one of the original areas settled in Dallas County, with roots tracing back to the early 1800s. So it makes sense that it should also have one of the most established and trusted Chambers of Commerce in North Texas. For over 50 years, the Southeast Dallas Chamber of Commerce has worked diligently to improve the quality of life and business in Southeast Dallas and the surrounding areas.

Our Role in Supporting your Company
The important work of the Chamber continues today as it works to nurture and support a positive, healthy environment that provides the greatest opportunity for quality businesses to grow and prosper and to be responsible and giving members of the community they do business with and in. In short, The Southeast Dallas Chamber of Commerce provides you the business owner, with the support and tools you need to be successful. We provide you with the "Power to Connect Your Business to the Community,” and we’ve been doing that for over 50 years! - Bi-lingual translation services

- Access to meeting and conference facilities with Audio/Visual equipment support

- Support for and guidance through zoning and code enforcement issues
- A unified, group representation on issues affecting business in S.E. Dallas
- Hosting "Town Hall" meetings with city, state, and even federal officials

Our Role in the Community
- Production and sponsorship of over a dozen major community-wide events and programs that support a stronger, healthier Southeast Dallas.
- Sponsorship of youth education programs for pre-school to high school aged children
- Support for family services including food, shelter, clothing, counseling, rehabilitation, etc.
- Support and sponsorship of both merchant & neighborhood crime watches
- Support and sponsorship of community beautification projects including trash collection, graffiti abatement, code enforcement, etc.
- Support for Southeast Dallas educators with special recognition, including the annual "Principal of the Year" award
- Support for Southeast Dallas police officers and fireman, with special recognitions including the annual "Officer & Firefighter of the Year Awards"
- Provide scholarships to high school seniors in Southeast Dallas, toward continuing their education into college
